I see this "art" as a stark representation of man's inhumanity to art.

I think you missed the point of the posting. Let's not pretend that the artist does not dwell in the commercial realm - it's clear that she does, as these pieces have been sold and will continue to be sold. That being the case, I see this as little more than crass commercial expoitation of the toddlers for the entertainment of the artist's audience. I don't think people would have tolerated it nearly as well if the subjects had been fluffy kittens or great apes.

She's not a retard. You guys are stupid and can't spell worth shit. It is art what Jill Greenberg does. You guys wouldn't know art if it hit you in the face. It's photography and it makes a point. "It’s as if they believe the apocalyptic End Time is near, therefore protecting the earth and future of our children is futile. As a parent I have to reckon with the knowledge that our children will suffer for the mistakes our government is making. " Read the quote, look at the pictures, learn to spell.

Andre would certainly have been problematical for a VO5 campaign. I think the company might have just opted not to do an ad with him. I'm sure there must have been a morals clause that would have barred him also.

[...] Check it out! While looking through the blogosphere we stumbled on an interesting post today. Here’s a quick excerptIs Fat the New Normal? Yeah, Sure… Friday, December 14, 2007 Unbelieveable. While driving between locations on my rig tripos yesterday, I heard a talk show host discussing the research out of FSU in this article from Fox News. America’s collectively growing waistline has made it more “socially acceptable” for people, especially women, to carry a few extra pounds, a new report says.
Well, the narrative fits the events as they have unfolded, but for it to be credible, I think you'd have to almost have to believe that the US intelligence community and the President have been engaged in a very well choreographed ballet to cover the deal, including his dismay at the new NIE and his continued insistance that Iran is still a threat.

The problem is that like a lot of conspiracy theories, the Shoher scenario involves an awful lot of moving parts, and requires that nobody leaks the story to the press. Sad to say that the latter part is not a given in today's CIA.

I think a simpler explanation is that the CIA is an agency that has more than a few patently partisan bureaucrats who have found the CIA culture more than accepting of political subterfuge, leaks and betrayal to try to influence American foreign policy.
